Scaling Out PostgreSQL & the Future of Replication in v10

This presentation will give an overview of PostgreSQL replication technologies for scaling-out.

We will cover BDR, the bi-directional replication solution, and the pglogical plugin for logical replication, as well as current efforts to implement logical replication in the PostgreSQL core for version 10.

We will also discuss the open-source Postgres-XL project, a scalable multiple-node database cluster with cluster-wide consistency.
