Patrick McFadin is a Chief Evangelist for Apache Cassandra. He also works as a Principle Solutions Architect at DataStax, the commercial company behind Apache Cassandra.

Prior to his work at DataStax he was the Chief Architect at Hobsons, an education services company. He obtained a BS in Computer Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
